Business News. The trade tension between China and America has once again reached its peak. The very next day of US President Donald Trump's threat, the White House has announced to impose 104% import duty (tariff) on China. This decision of America is being seen as a new beginning of the economic war between the two countries. Donald Trump had said in a post on social media that if China does not withdraw the 34% tariff imposed on America, then America will also impose an additional 50% tariff on it. Now the White House has implemented this threat and announced a total tariff of 104%. The White House says that this decision will come into effect from April 9.

Trump's retaliatory action against China

In his statement, Trump said clearly that any country that retaliates against America will be immediately hit with new and more stringent tariffs. He said that we had already made it clear that we will not tolerate unfair trade practices. Now the time has come for China to reconsider its policy and behave properly with America.

Trade war will have a big impact

Trump also clarified that the proposed meetings between the US and China have now been postponed. Also, the US will start the process of negotiations with those countries that have already requested trade talks. Analysts believe that this decision may affect global trade and America's relations with China may become more tense.

There was no response from China

There has been no official response from China on this decision so far, but it is believed that Beijing will react to it soon. Experts believe that China can also take tough steps in response to this tariff, which can further deepen the trade war between the world's two largest economies. Now everyone's eyes are on China's next step.
